Wedding Date on May 6, 2022

Neil and Alexa met back in 2016 on the dating app scene in Pittsburgh! Neither of them had much free time. Neil was in the midst of his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency, and Alexa was working full-time while also pursuing a Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy. Still, Neil asked Alexa on a date. She agreed. And, the rest, as they say, is history... They've spent the past eight years chasing their dreams, and supporting each other's dreams as their own. They have two beloved European golden retrievers (who played a large role in some fun details of their wedding day) and together have built a life they love. In 2021, they took a trip to the Hamptons where Neil surprised Alexa by proposing on the beach during a photoshoot (and even surprised the photographer!) For their wedding, they planned a CHIC, modern, and romantic celebration, with dim reception lighting and dripping in candlelight. Alexa wanted to keep in line with the “glass house” appearance of The Wintergarden by using clean lines with glass and acrylic accents. Alexa worked with their graphic designer to create two “brands/logos” that were themes throughout the reception! Alexa's eye for detail is unmatched, which was evident in each and every component of their glamorous affair. Keep your eyes out for the dessert table, which was mayyybe the most magnificent thing we've ever seen (or tasted!). They also had the most epicly meticulous coffee bar that featured the couple's beloved pups which was so sweet, and so much fun. Another stand out feature of their May wedding had to be the fact that it rained the entire day long. It was cold, dark, gray, and wet outside. But this didn't alter the couple's mood for even a second. And that says a lot about a person. What a joy it was to capture the love story of this extraordinary, dream team couple.
