From the couple: "We met through my brother Adrian about 9 1/2 years ago and have been dating ever since. We had been talking on the phone for about two months before we went on our very first date. We went to the movies with some friends and that’s when he asked me to be his girlfriend. We have been together ever since through thick and thin. We are both very adventurous, open-minded people who love to travel the world. Ivan proposed to me on January 21 when we were celebrating our 9th year anniversary. He lied to me telling me he was taking me to a beer brewery in Austin. Instead he took me skydiving. I was in shock when I saw the skydiving sign but, yet excited. So, we both get into the airplane and Ivan jumps first then I follow. As I was landing I see a big sign on the ground saying, “BRENDA WILL YOU MARRY ME?” and there he was waiting for me to walk up to him when he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him.
