Rarely does my face hurt from laughing after a full day of filming a wedding Brooke and Jake’s day was an exception. With Jake’s best friend as the officiant and some pretty transparent vows, One couldn’t help laughing and crying throughout their ceremony. We often go into our wedding films knowing just about all we need to know about our couples. That said, I was not prepared for how FUN these two were, and I certainly wasn’t prepared for this moment in Jake’s vows: You’ve been with me through one of the darkest times of my life. The day I decided that I was going bald. I literally busted a gut as he described in heart-wrenching detail the traumatic series of events of that devastating realization and how Brooke supported him through it. If I didn’t know for sure that these two were meant for each other before, I definitely knew by that point. Outside of the general hilarity of these two together, their day was just about as perfect as it gets. Up The Creek Farms in Grant-Valkaria is just about the dreamiest venue one can have for their wedding. Sprawling oak trees with curtains of spanish moss draping scenes of vintage lounge furniture and yard games, chandeliers hanging from the rafters of the iconic boat house, and champaign shenanigans on the back deck of the Declan house where everyone got ready. Their wedding was their dream come true. I’m so glad Brooke and Jake wanted to film their wedding Because there’s just nothing like doing life with a person and being able to go back in time to relive the happiest day of one’s life like watching your wedding film.
